By adding 6 (six) D-types vessels to its fleet, Jumbo-SAL Alliance has clearly expandied its offering.
Jumbo-SAL Alliance now offers these multi-purpose vessels, complementing its Heavy Lift fleet, which is already a benchmark in the global maritime industry.
The D-type vessels joined the fleet only a few months ago and are sufficiently versatile and powerful (LOA 119.80m, Beam 20.00m, geared at 2x250mt, combinable up to 500mt SWL) to participate in offshore projects for our renowned clients.
The best example is found in two contracts signed by the JSI Alliance, a few months apart, for the same prestigious client :
- The MV Industrial Dawn (see picture) loaded a consignment of reels, weighing up to 280 tons, in Northern Europe, to feed an installation vessel for nearly three months off the African coast. She will soon return the empty reels to their port of departure.
- The MV Industrial Dolphin, on the other hand, has just begun a new campaign with another batch of reels, this time weighing up to 153 tons, loaded in Asia. These reels will soon be delivered to our client's installation vessel in Africa, to complete the next phase of their offshore insttalation campaign.
What do we offer that others don't ?
We provide our clients with the proven engineering expertise of the Jumbo-SAL Alliance, regardless of the operation, the challenge or the vessel's type, as well as the extensive experience of our operational teams, to the highest possible industry standard.
We know how to overcome all the challenges that may arise during any critical operation.
It's simply part of our DNA.
